In-Person Absentee Voting for the April 4th, 2023 Spring Election begins Tuesday, March 21st.

In-person, absentee voting for the April 4th, 2023 Election begins Tuesday, March 21st and ends Friday, March 31st, 2022 at 5:00 PM.

Location: Village Administration office at 10005 Norway Street.

Dates/hours: Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 through Thursday, March 30th, 2023 during the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday, March 31st, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Any qualified elector may submit a request to vote an absentee ballot to their municipal clerk.  A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen who:

  • Will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day.
  • Has resided in the ward or municipality where they wish to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election.

The elector must also be registered to vote to receive an absentee ballot. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued. You can apply for an absentee ballot in the clerk’s office, vote your ballot immediately, seal your ballot in the proper envelope, and return it to the clerk or deputy clerk.  No ballots may be taken from the clerk’s office.
