The Door County Fire Chiefs Association has joined forces with other local entities to create the Door County Emergency Support Coalition in order to provide information and assistance to the residents and guests of Door County through the duration of the hardships surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.
That coalition’s assistance includes delivering and shopping for food and supplies, helping to perform welfare checks for family or neighbors, and connecting people with child-care support. The coalition is also seeking volunteers with health-care backgrounds to potentially assist with interpreting coronavirus guidelines.
