Associated Appraisal Consultants (AAC) is the Village’s contracted appraisal firm and has been retained to complete a full revaluation of all taxable property for the 2025 assessment year. The revaluation will establish new assessed values in an equitable fashion for all properties within the Village as of January 1, 2025.
By now, you may have received an informational mailing from AAC. Please click here to read a sample copy of the letter. This letter informs the property owner about the revaluation and the field data collection process, which involves taking exterior photos and measurements of all buildings; it also explains how to recognize the AAC staff members by their ID tags and marked vehicles. These letters were mailed out on Tuesday, April 29th. Field work will commence within the Village beginning Monday, May 5, 2025.
Please be advised that the Wisconsin Trespass law gives the assessor the authority to enter a property once during an assessment cycle unless the property owner has notified the assessor in advance to deny entry.
